NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ZONING CHANGES

The Zoning Commission of New Russia Township will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to the New Russia Township Resolution which was initiated by a property owner application.

The hearing will be held at the Administrative Office of New Russia Township in the Cedar East room at 46300 Butternut Ridge Road, Oberlin, OH 44074 on February 10, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.

The updates propose to amend the zoning map for the following nine (9) parcels: 10343 ST RT 58 ELYRIA OH 44035, Parcel # 0900016000009, owned by HURON COUNTY HOLDINGS LLC, from GB-1 & R1-1 to IP-1; ST RT 58 ELYRIA OH 44035, Parcel # 0900016000006, owned by CERES FARMS LLC, from GB-1 & R1-1 to IP-1; 45396 RUSSIA RD ELYRIA OH 44035, Parcel # 0900017000011, owned by CERES FARMS LLC, from R1-1 to IP-1; OBERLIN RD ELYRIA OH 44035, Parcel # 0900017000007, owned by CERES FARMS LLC , from R1-1 to IP-1; 9908 OBERLIN RD ELYRIA OH 44035, Parcel # 0900007000018, owned by CERES FARMS LLC, from R1-1 to IP-1; OBERLIN RD ELYRIA OH 44035, Parcel # 0900008000027, owned by CERES FARMS LLC, from R1-1 to IP-1; OBERLIN RD ELYRIA OH 44035, Parcel # 0900008000026, owned by CERES FARMS LLC, from R1-1 to IP-1; 10011 ST RT 58 ELYRIA OH 44035, Parcel # 0900006000026, owned by RICHARD C PLEASNICK, from GB-1 & R1-1 to IP-1; and RUSSIA RD ELYRIA OH 44035, Parcel # 0900017000002, owned by SIMMS MARSHALL & WAYNE J TRUSTEE & LEAH L TRUSTEE, from R1-1 to IP-1.

The application and map for the proposed amendment will be available for examination for a period of ten days from January 31, 2026 to February 10, 2026 from 9:00 a.m.to 2:00 p.m. at the Administrative Office of New Russia Township at 46300 Butternut Ridge Road, Oberlin, OH.

After conclusion of the hearing, the matter will be submitted to the Board of Trustees for further action.
