The Lodge of New Russia Township is an 11,510 square foot banquet facility, which provides renters the ability to rent Cedar East or Cedar West (5,755 square foot each) or the Entire Lodge for their specific rental needs. A retractable wall can be used to divide The Lodge when two separate events are being held. Cedar East and Cedar West has seating capacity for 250 people or 500 for the Entire Lodge.   Reservations for The Lodge include a full day rental, you will have access to The Lodge from 8 a.m. until Midnight, clean-up is required to be completed by 1 a.m.  

New Russia Township provides a custom set-up of table and chairs along with breakdown.  Also, provided are 6-foot round tables with chairs for seating as well as 8-foot long buffet tables. Customers provide their own table covers, centerpieces along with food and/or catering, beverages, bartenders and ice.  Bar areas are equipped with ice chest and bar coolers for your use. Any rental items or personal items brought for use during event needs to be removed same day as rental. Please check with rental companies to ensure pick-up before 12 Midnight, the day of event.

Decorations are not permitted on walls, ceiling or floor, glitter, confetti, tape, push pins are not permitted as well as no open burning of candles. Charges will be assessed for damages, missing New Russia Township property or excessive cleaning as deemed appropriate by New Russia Township Board of Trustees.  

The Lodge offers a large kitchen facility with use of a refrigerator, freezer, microwave and coffee pot. Ovens or warming boxes are not provided. If renting the entire lodge, you will have access to both kitchens. Outdoor grilling is permitted in parking lot located outside of the kitchen doors. Grilling is prohibited under covered porches or on sidewalks. You are required to protect the concrete from excessive grease from grills. Men and Women Changing Rooms are located in both Cedar East and Cedar West. Changing Rooms can be used while getting ready for your big day or can offer privacy when needed. Diaper Changing Stations are located in restrooms and/or Changing Rooms. Several high-chairs are provided for use as well. 

The Lodge offers access to large projection screens if requested.  Customer must provide personal laptop and presentation. Customers are encouraged to meet with the Hall Coordinator to ensure capability with New Russia Township technology before your event.  Wireless microphones, personalized entry messages, and free Wi-Fi are also available for use. New Russia Township is a handicap accessible and smoke-free facility.   

New Russia Township offers an Outdoor Garden Pergola for ceremonies.  Customers must provide seating for the outdoor event, seating removal is required same day as rental. There is an additional charge for use of the Garden Pergola which also includes an outdoor Picnic Shelter w/picnic tables.

For events serving alcohol to groups larger than 50, security is MANDATORY, please contact The NRT Hall Coordinatorat (440) 775-7782 ext 104 at least one month prior to your event to make arrangements. Payments will be made directly to deputy(s) at time of your event. If alcoholic beverages are served, alcohol is not permitted outside of facility and it is your responsibility to comply with any and all laws, regulations, and rules set forth by the Ohio Department of Liquor Control.  

Feel free to contact New Russia Township’s Hall Coordinator to arrange a guided tour of our facility.  Once you have reserved The Lodge you will be contacted by New Russia Township’s Hall Coordinator at least two weeks before your rental date.  At that time floor plans, door codes to access building along with additional instructions will be reviewed.
